Gratitude Photo Challenge – Day 11

Once again, no I hadn’t forgotten about this challenge. I took a break from it since I was doing the March Photo-A-Day Challenge but now that that’s done, I am going back to this one.

Anyway, the topic for Day 11 of the photo challenge is ‘something old’. And I know just the thing. It’s something I have had with me since I was in Year 10 and held a lot of memories at the time.

It’s a ‘slam book’. To the uninitiated, this was something we did back then in the last year of high school. You had people fill in details like ‘my hobby’, ‘my favourite teacher’, ‘what I think about you’ etc. It’s one way of keeping memories of your high school friends. And sometimes when I look back at it, I smile. Especially at responses to dream jobs and what they think they will be doing in the future or even their crushes. Of course, not everyone is truly honest but some are. It’s a pleasure to sift through even now, almost 15 years later. How time flies!

Until next time,
