Thanks to winter, I have slacked off with regards to my gymming and eating habits. Consequently, I noticed that I put on a kilo in the last month after taking almost a year to lose 5 kgs. [Why does that happen??] Anyway, I also stopped my membership at the gym I was going to because I found another one that’s a lot cheaper. I am yet to join though. The plan is to join in August once I’m done with my presentation and hopefully, the weather is less cold.
To help motivate myself further, I have joined the 12 Week Body Transformation (12WBT) program. I figured it would help me lose the 7 kgs I need to lose as well as more importantly, help with my lifestyle and diet. My diet is not the best. Sometimes, I can be lazy and just eat toast. Other times I can have a big meal. So I need to stick to something balanced and this might help me come up with good healthy balanced options. Plus, due to my slack diet, earlier in the year I found out that my iron levels and Vitamin D levels were quite low. I have been taking supplements for both but really should be incorporating it in my diet.
My 12 WBT warm-up starts now. The pre-season starts the end of the month. And the actual exercise and diet regime of 12 weeks starts on the 27th of August. Which works out well for me in terms of my life at the moment.
