Week 1 as you probably read had been successful.
Week 2 started off well. And then, Day 2 (Tuesday) while doing weights, I pulled a shoulder muscle. I was in pain all day and had to buy a heat pack and do stretches all day at work and when I got home. It only got better on Wednesday. I forced myself to go to the gym on Day 3 despite the pain given that all I was doing was cardio. By Wednesday night, the pain was a lot better.
But Thursday morning, I woke up with a sore throat. And that was the beginning of things going downhill. I stayed home from work that day hoping I’d get better. But Friday, things were not looking up. I went to the doctor and was given a prescription for antibiotics to start on Monday if things don’t get better and in the mean time to use Diflam. I didn’t have the energy to go to the gym but I stuck to the diet.
At the moment, my head still feels fuzzy. I’ve bought the antibiotics as I don’t think things are getting better…even though my throat is no longer sore, my nose is stuffed.
So yeah, my gymming for this week was down.
The only plus side was that when I weighed in on Wednesday, I’d lost a kilo.
Let’s hope I have enough energy next week to exercise. And really, really hope that I don’t fall sick again!
