Restaurant Review: Nonya

The day C and I went to the Matchbox Twenty concert, we had dinner in the city. On the recommendation of another friend of mine from work, M, we chose to go to Nonya.

Nonya restaurant

Nonya is a Malaysian restaurant in the city. C and I didn’t order any starters and just settled for a main course. We ended up ordering two dishes to share with rice. One was a Singapore Chilli prawn dish and the other was Chicken Curry. And it was so yummy!!! We didn’t feel overly full and enjoyed every last mouthful. I’m still drooling while typing this. Here are some pictures:

Best of all, the prices are so reasonable. Most mains are under $15.00. The ambiance is lovely and the service is pretty quick and good.

So if you are ever in the city, you could most certainly try out this restaurant. It’s on Level 5, 1 Dixon Street, Sydney 2000.

Happy eating!

Until next time,

Cheers!!!

If you like Malaysian, have you been to Mamak’s? It’s a must go for my Sydney trips and I sooo wish we had one on the Gold Coast. The chicken curry, the satay and the egg roti….mmmm, my mouth is watering! It’s very reasonably priced too.

Y’know Rbit…that’s where we were headed first but there was a bit of a line outside and since we had the concert at 7, we decided to go to Nonya (which was also recommended) instead. Will look to go to Mamak’s soon…
