Review and Giveaway: AntiOx Snack Bars and Chocolate

Product talk by Nuffnang

If you read my blog regularly you probably know by now that I love my chocolate. So when AntiOx was offered as a product review by Vitality brands and Nuffnang, I jumped at the chance. After all, when sugar-free goes together with chocolate, my brain automatically goes “healthy” and cartwheels for joy at how much I can indulge. I know at some level it defeats the purpose of healthy but I’m pretty good with not overdoing it.

Chocolate bars

Chocolate bars

The AntiOx chocolate bars have 70% cocoa dark chocolate and the super fruits Acai and Goji. I dug into these on a couple of bushwalks and shared it with a few friends as a result. We all loved it! {Especially if like me, you like dark chocolate} I loved that it wasn’t too sweet and not too bitter either. Usually I’m not a fan of fruit in my chocolate but in this case, the fruit wasn’t as big as you see in some other chocolates with sultanas and the like. {Plus, it wasn’t sultanas which is also a bonus!}

Snack bars

Snack bars

The AntiOx Snack bars are made of a mixture of super fruits {Goji berries, Acai or Chia & Quinoa}, wholegrain and forest fruits and are covered with 70% cocoa sugar free dark chocolate. Once again, I took a coupel of these snack bars with me on my walks. Only difference was I didn’t actually share them. I guess I was expecting more of a muesli bar but I still enjoyed these snack bars and they are pretty filling as a mid-morning snack or just an energy booster.

Both the chocolates and the snack bars are supposed to be rich in anti-oxidants. While I personally cannot vouch for that, I’ll say this: They are yummy! I’d definitely be going back for more of the chocolate for sure.

Now for the exciting bit:

Thanks to Nuffnang and AntiOx, I have 2 x AntiOx prize packs to give away. Each pack includes 6 snack bars and 4 chocolates. To enter this giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment below to the following question:

    I adore chocolate but I would really love to have an excuse to eat it more often. Surely the fact that these are rich in anti-oxidants is enough of a reason for a yummy snack 🙂

    I’d love to try these snacks out as I think they would be perfect to squirrel away in my desk drawer at work to get me through the 3 o’clock fuzzies that I sometimes suffer from and crave chocolate to remedy.
