Darkness and Light

When darkness sets on some days
The fear is never again seeing the light
You wish for time to whizz past
While you sleep well into the night

When darkness has its grasp on you
It holds you close; squeezes your heart tight
It whispers gently in your ears
How you’ll never again see the light

When darkness holds you as its prey
It blocks out every glimmer of light
You lose the will to wake up each day
Feeling worthless because of your plight

When darkness messes with your mind
There’s loss of hope and death in sight
Your future seems cold and bleak;
With no one around to show you the light

When darkness becomes a heavy burden
And you lose the will to stand up and fight
Don’t give up yet, as I know from my journey
At the end of the tunnel, there is a light

Babby, this is just so beautiful. Poignant, and real. I’ve felt the plight, and seen the light at the end of the tunnel too. Loved it a lot. <3 Thank you for linking up with Wednesday Verses again! 🙂

At the end of the tunnel, there is light to illuminate your world. The beauty of the shinning light makes your heart glow with happiness and love. May there be light all along your path.

Indeed, there is always hope where there is despair and light where there is darkness, in the end it’s upto us to hold on and fight back 🙂
